Good morning, sunshine!

We are Jonathan, Evita, and Fred Kunke, and we are the family behind Honeydew Sleep. We are on a mission to change the world through better sleep, because we believe with all of our hearts that when you sleep better, you live better. 

We are a small local family-owned and operated business in Southern California. We came from a background of brick-and-mortar mattress stores where we always focused on the science of sleep, the critical role of alignment, and listening to the needs and concerns of the customers we interacted with every day. Our love for those customers, our knowledge of how drastically quality of sleep can affect every part of a person’s well-being, and our overwhelming desire to do better in this industry and improve sleep for everyone, led us to creating the perfect pillow. Our passion project resulted in the development of a product so special that it propelled us into starting a business.

From sewing pillow covers one by one on our dining room table, to building our own factory so we that we could personally maintain our highest standards and quality control, we could not be prouder of what we have built, or more humbled by the response we have gotten from the beautiful people who lay their heads on our pillows every night. The stories they share with us about how our product has improved their lives make us feel like we are truly fulfilling our purpose. 

Our hearts are poured right into the innovative designs of our products, the luxurious fabrics, the carefully cultivated fill in our pillows, every stitch, and every seam. As we have grown, we remain steadfast and singularly focused on innovating the sleep industry, pursuing science backed solutions, delivering exceptional quality, and fiercely dedicating ourselves to meeting and exceeding our customer’s needs, as well as surprising them along the way.
